On April 1, 1969, a group of caring citizens founded northern Colorado’s first nonprofit animal shelter with the goal of providing a safe haven for lost and unwanted pets – now known as NOCO Humane. Fifty-five years later, we have had the privilege of serving tens of thousands of lost, abandoned, and homeless animals in northern Colorado.

In honor of this achievement, we invite you join us in celebrating NOCO Humane’s inaugural “Day of Giving” on April 1.
