About Me
Hi, I'm Forest! I'm a shy guy who enjoys gentle pets and relaxing, I can be shy with new people and am nervous about being picked up so I would love a home without young kids. While I am shy once I'm comfortable I enjoy being pet and will seek out attention. I can't wait to meet you! This cat tested positive for FIV.
FIV-positive cats do not inherently have a shorter lifespan; studies show they can often live as long as uninfected cats. While the virus weakens a cat's immune system, making it more vulnerable to secondary infections, proper care—including a good diet, regular vet check-ups, and a low-stress, indoor-only environment—allows many FIV-positive cats to have a normal, healthy life.
