Hi! I’m Nala! I’m a happy, loving lady looking for my forever home. I’m house trained and will paw at the door when I need to go out. I love going on walks and know lots of tricks like sit, lay down, shake, fetch, play dead, and more since I’m very treat-motivated and love learning new things! I can pull a bit on the leash, but I’m eager to please and love spending time with my people. I’ve lived indoors my whole life with a securely fenced yard, though I can be a little sneaky and have figured out how to escape if the opportunity presents itself. I love cuddles, bones, and snuggling up in blankets. I’m good in the car, sleep quietly when alone, and do well at the vet. I’m best in a home where I can be the center of attention. I prefer to be the only pet, as I can guard my toys and food from other dogs. I love kids, I used to live with a 4-year-old and had a great time playing but I do have some fears, like balloons and vacuums. I also like meeting new people. I’m curious and playful, and I’ll chase cats or small critters if given the chance, so a cat-free home is safest. With the right family who can give me structure, love, and attention, I’ll be a loyal, affectionate, and fun companion. I can’t wait to meet you!
