Puppy Socialization Course
NOCO Humane’s Puppy Socialization Course is designed to help your puppy gain the experiences, skills, and confidence necessary to develop into a well-rounded dog. Our classes are rooted in the principle of Positive Reinforcement, providing slow and positive exposure to a variety of novel stimuli during monitored playgroups. Puppies and their parents will learn how to minimize undesirable behaviors through development and into adulthood. It is also a great opportunity to further the human-animal bond with your puppy. Let’s get you and your pup’s relationship started on the right paw!

Microchipping
Keeping pets safe is every pet owner’s top priority – and microchipping your pet is a simple, effective way to increase the chances of reuniting with your furry friend should they become lost. It’s a simple and safe procedure where a tiny identification chip—about the size of a grain of rice—is placed just under your pet’s skin. It’s a quick procedure, similar to a routine vaccination.

This permanent ID links to your contact information, helping shelters and veterinarians reach you (using a microchip scanner) if your lost pet is brought to them. NOCO Humane offers quick and affordable microchipping services for dogs and cats at its Larimer and Weld campuses.

Cat Trap Rental
NOCO Humane offers humane cat trap rentals to help safely and effectively contain cats for transport, veterinary care, or whatever your need may be. Our traps are designed to prevent injury and reduce stress, providing a safe solution for both owned and cats in need. Our team can also offer basic guidance to help ensure successful and humane use.

Cat trap rentals are $5 per day with a seven day maximum period. We ask for a $60 deposit that is refunded upon the return of the trap. Additionally, our team will assist you in completing a trap rental agreement before checking out.

Community Dog Park
NOCO Humane’s Larimer Campus in Loveland is home to a community dog park – a welcoming space for dogs and their people to play, exercise, and socialize. This privately owned park is maintained by NOCO Humane and is open to the community daily from sunrise to sunset. The park features two separate, fully enclosed areas—one designated for dogs over 20 pounds and the other for dogs under 20 pounds. Enjoy 1.75 acres equipped with shade structures and seating, seasonal water stations, and multiple entrances for convenient access. A walking trail adjacent to the dog park is also available for use, offering an additional way to enjoy time outdoors with your pup!

To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all guests, park rules and dog-to-dog etiquette guidelines must be followed, which are posted both inside and outside the park.
