What is Critter Camp?

We strongly believe that animal wellness tomorrow begins with education today. Our Humane Education Department runs a series of Critter Camps throughout the year, designed to provide our youth with experiential learning, hands-on activities, and engaging lesson plans, all in the world of animal welfare and our beloved pets.
d
Understanding the principles of animal safety and fostering positive interactions with a diverse array of creatures are essential steps towards fully enjoying all that (both domestic and wild) animals have to offer. By fostering empathy and understanding, we aim to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the welfare of animals.
d
Critter Camp isn’t just about learning facts; it’s about inspiring action. We want our campers to leave with a newfound passion for making a difference in the lives of animals, whether it’s by volunteering at shelters, supporting conservation efforts, or simply being mindful of their own pets’ needs. Together, we can create a safe community where humans and animals coexist harmoniously, and Critter Camp is where that journey begins.

Summer Sessions are now full.

Thank you for your interest in Critter Camp! All of our summer sessions are currently full. We hope you’ll join us next year!
